About the Hiring Department

Who we are?
We study culture and react with technology.

Prezi Inc. is a venture funded American-Hungarian-Swedish company. We're rapidly expanding to build a new communication format for the world. We work as a creative and innovative young team where people can cultivate new ideas and solutions.

What we do

At Prezi, we prefer not to follow trends. Instead, we learn about culture and respond with technology. We believe in humanity’s desire for creativity and self-expression.

History & Team

Adam Somlai-Fischer and Peter Halacsy started working on Prezi in 2007, as they felt slides limited their ability to develop and explain ideas. Prezi was their response to solve these issues. Prezi officially launched in April 2009 from Budapest - the home town of Peter and Adam. Sunstone Capital and TED Conferences invested in Prezi in July 2009, and the San Francisco office was opened in November 2009.

Our Culture

Working at Prezi is...

... simply fantastic. We all really enjoy it. A good blend of research, innovation, startup-feel, business-pace, premier design and community.

In times where most companies shrink, we are fortunate enough to grow. There might be various opportunities for you at Prezi.

How we see ourselves

✮ We don't follow trends - we learn about culture and respond with technology and design.
✮ We help people to communicate. To tell stories. In many ways, we set people free from slides.
✮ True social responsibility is at the core of our values.
✮ We are structured - but we peer produce as well

Our Work

Techcrunch described Prezi as “just plain awesome. It’s an entirely Flash-based app that lets you
break away from the slide-by-slide approach of most presentations. Instead, it allows you to create
non-linear presentations where you can zoom in and out of a visual map containing words, links,
images, videos, etc.” You can read the rest of the review at:
