What we do

Sponsume.com

Sponsume (SPONsor + conSUME) is an online platform that helps you promote the exciting new ideas and projects you want to see happen.

Are you an entrepreneur, artist, charity or an inventor with a great idea? Upload your video pitch on Sponsume.com and collect the funds you need by selling project vouchers online.

Sponsume facilitates VIRAL FUNDING for your project by offering a free customisable project page and easy-to-purchase project vouchers that can be shared with your social network and beyond.

Thanks to Sponsume, users will have access to some of the most exciting new ideas and projects around. Sponsume users get the chance to pick the ones they think have real promise and turn them into reality by buying cheap project vouchers (e.g. £10, £20 each).

Project vouchers entitle their buyers to REWARDS. These are set by the project creator and can be pretty much anything (except equity and intellectual property rights).

Each project brings its own unique rewards. And vouchers often act like pre-orders for the product or service that will be produced when the project goes live. For some projects your voucher might offer an attractive discount on the proposed product. For others it might be a gift, or exclusive VIP treatment, etc.

What kind of project will you find on Sponsume? We welcome a wide variety of projects: new businesses, new products, charity events, exhibitions, concerts, balls, new albums, documentaries, films, sporting events, classes or conferences… You name it, we Sponsume it!

How does the funding work? Each project comes with a funding target (anywhere between £200 and £50,000) and a funding deadline. By buying vouchers, you contribute to funding the project. There are 2 possible outcomes: 1) The project reaches its funding target within the timeframe. In this case, the project receives the amount and goes ahead; 2) The project fails to reach its funding target. In that case, the project does not get funding and sponsors get their money back.

Sponsume is also a great way of market testing your idea for free.

Sponsume Beta was soft-launched in the UK on April 27th. Initially only UK projects will be accepted.

The best projects will be listed and selling project vouchers on the website for the full public launch of Sponsume in June. The selected projects will benefit from the PR associated with Sponsume’s public launch.
