TechCrunch
What we do
TechCrunch Europe is a blog that covers Web 2.0 news about Internet and Mobile start-up news with an emphasis on companies across Europe. It is part of the TechCrunch Network, which includes country-specific blogs for France and Japan. TechCrunch Europe is edited by Mike Butcher (Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts). In August 2008 TechCrunch Europe was awarded the best “Web 2.0 and business blog” in the UK, by the readers of Computer Weekly magazine. In 2009 it was named as one of the Top 10 blogs out of the UK. In April 2010 TechCrunch Europe was named as one of Britain’s Top 100 “digital power-brokers” by Wired UK magazine. (Please note, Quantcast figures are inaccurate as TechCrunch Europe’s traffic is largely non-US).
A Look Inside
Our Culture
The tech scene in Europe is a lot of fun. Check out The Europas or GeeekRolla for instance. And there are huge possibilities awaiting anyone who wants to get involved. We’re easy going, very flexible, work a lot on email, Twitter and IM (so no need for too many dull meetings) and don’t stand on ceremony.
