History & Team

Xchangeteam was founded in 1999.

It is one of the largest independents in the sector and the only recruitment company able to offer you a fully integrated service. This means we cover freelance and permanent roles in both digital and traditional media, across the widest breadth of markets (integrated marketing, media, PR & communications, internal communications, public affairs, design, editorial, digital, events and advertising).

We are constantly innovating in order to offer our two key customer bases - our clients and our freelance consultants / permanent candidates - the best possible service.

We have created specific programmes such as Next Generation (graduates) and InterXchange (non-UK professionals) to tackle skills shortages; we have introduced the Xpoints Rewards Programme, a leap forward in rewarding the freelance talent we represent so we ensure we attract the best; ; the founders of the MMC Code of Practice, part of the REC, our industry body and our CEO Emma Brierley has written and published "Talent on Tap" advising companies on how to get the best out of freelance talent.

Our innovative approach has been recognised with wins in the 2005 REC Awards for Best Temporary Recruitment Agency and the 2006 London Excellence Awards for Customer Focus.
