About Me

Prior to the university admission, I worked at commercial Bank of Ceylon Ltd, Sri Lanka, first as a Receptionist cum Telephone Operator and then as a Help-desk Administrator. As the Help-desk Administrator I received all the complaints on hardware faults of all branches, recorded such complaints, inform respective vendor, monitored the progress of work and informed Superior Officer if vendor delay the maintenance and maintained all documentation of the HELP DESK. That experience enhanced my interpersonal, coordinating, problem analysing and effective communication skills as I collaboratively worked with different kinds of professionals.
After completion of the degree I worked with the Turtle Conservation Project (TCP) as an Office Secretary and my core working areas were associated with writing, compiling and editing project proposals and progress reports. In addition, I liaised with other office administration activities and secretarial works.
Presently I am working for Staples (Park Royal) as a Copy Centre Associate dealing with photocopying, faxing, printing and binding of documents, designing business cards, making Brother stamps, filing and record keeping of customers’ orders and attending customer inquiries including working in the checkouts. I am a person who is keen to learn new things and enhance my skills.
