About Me

I have been a hands on IT director of a media company and with strong leadership and project management skills I conceptualised and built a new product development department from the ground up. I managed 3 development teams and 6 product/project managers and successfully delivered commercially viable products to market providing a new healthy revenue stream. Worked very closely with Operational, Commercial and Sales teams to successfully deliver generic and bespoke products. I also played an important role in winning some major contracts for the business.

Prior to this I was responsible for the IT infrastructure of the company and managed approx 100 staff and £10m budget. The infrastructure team incorporated a dedicated 24x7 technical support and customer services teams, Windows, UNIX, Network, Telecommunication, Testing and Macintosh teams. Here I strategically centralised the operations, moved the company technically forward and produced some significant cost savings in the process.

I achieved 1st class honors degree and completed an MBA, with additional qualifications in Prince 2 and ITIL to support.
