About Me

As a Senior Product Engineer with excellent qualifications and a strong desire to excel in profession, I am seeking to align myself with a company positioned for strong growth. At Rediff.com India Ltd I have been working on various data mining aspects for search like log mining, feedback systems, query enhancement, web link graph analysis etc. I have worked on indexing/searching in vertical search domains like shopping and books. I have experience of handling huge data sets, passionate about information retrieval and have worked on generating patterns from available information.

I have experience with Java,C++, python and have decent knowledge of Oracle and mysql. I have worked using map reduce paradigm and used extensively open source projects like lucene solr and hadoop.

I have a post graduate qualification in computer science(MS By research) and my master's thesis was on data clustering.

I have excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills with the flexibility and experience required to remain highly focused and self possessed in fast-paced, demanding environments. I have proven to be a hands-on team member and a fast learner who can produce significant contributions.
