FM Bid Manager
About Me
I am responsible for effectively and efficiently bidding, presenting and securing and retaining long term FM contracts, providing relevant commercial, strategic and technical input. I review and interpret the client ITN/ITCD and develop a best value FM
strategy which aligns with our profit and growth strategy.
This includes bid pricing, devising the operational structure and developing method statements for operational compliance. I work closely with the incoming Contracts Manager assisting
and helping clarify the specific contractual requirements whilst advising in a technical and compliance capacity where required.
Responsibilities also include liaising with Joint Venture/SPV management and Design Teams through all stages
of the complex PFI and Commercial bid process to ensure that design solutions are compatible with the operational objectives of the facilities.
I am responsible for negotiating realistic Operational Services Specifications and Payment
Mechanism documentation with the client’s technical team with specific expertise in respect of negotiating Utilities targets and Energy Management.
Interpreting risk in relation to Availability and Performance Criteria, Payment Mechanism,
final mark-ups of Project Agreements, Interface Agreements and FM Contracts are undertaken ensuring risks are mitigated and controlled.
