I am well experienced in providing hands-on server support including racking, powering, patching and installation of network equipment including trouble-shooting hardware faults, installation and powering of cabinets.

Site management, capacity planning, rack content allocation and communicate easily at all levels with support groups – managing enquiries and requests while providing detailed documentation.

With good understanding of contemporary network solutions and technologies: CAT5E, CAT6, Fibre, LAN and WAN. Installing network equipment including routers, line cards, G-BIC, SFP etc.

Furthermore, I have a good understanding of transmission network fundamentals and principles; PDH, SDH and IP configurations including E1/2mb, Sonet/45mb, 10g’s testing using relevant testers, with further experience in rack and power installations including fibre and coaxial cabling and OTDR Test.
