About Me
I graduated with my B.A. in Political Science from the University of Kansas in 2003, where I finished with honours and a GPA of 3.9 out of 4.0. I went on to study at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and obtained my master's degree
(MSc) in Comparative Politics in 2004. I also speak fluent Persian and basic Spanish.
I have previous experience working as a PA in a home setting as well as an EA in a corporate office. I worked as a personal assistant in the New York
home of a very busy and demanding diplomat from Jordan where my biggest responsibility was managing her heavy social calendar, as well as running errands, maintaining her home office, communicating with other staff in her homes in London and Paris, and performing
other administrative duties. I also worked as an Executive Assistant in New York at an economic consulting firm called NERA where I was the assistant to two high-level Vice-Presidents. My main duties included screening and answering calls, delivering messages,
maintaining their busy calendars using Microsoft Outlook, coordinating meetings with other staff members, drafting email and routing correspondence, and ordering and organizing office supplies. I also routinely filled in for the front desk receptionist where
I was responsible for answering a busy main number as well as greeting and welcoming visitors.
