Graphic Designer
About Me
In the last couple of years I have lived in Edinburgh, Durban and Berlin, as well as my hometown of Dublin, and always seem to find myself gravitating towards the creative culture. Being surrounded by so much creativity means there have always been projects
to get involved in, concepts to discuss and exposure to new ways of working.
I have been involved in the Dublin Fringe Festival in various roles for the past five years, most recently completing a 6 month internship in Graphic Design
and Marketing. Following this I was offered a position with the National Leprechaun Museum as a Graphic Designer in the lead up to their launch. Other design jobs have included The Theatre Machine Turns You On, a festival of youth culture, with Come As Soon
As You Hear creative collective designing promotional material for their club nights an with the Independent Youth Theatre.
I love words, languages and writing, both creatively and as a journalist for the online magazines lecool.ie and
culch.ie, and I am passionate about installation and performance art as well as interactive design. Mark Evaristti’s Helena and Philip Ridley’s Mercury Fur are two of my favourite pieces due to their ability to divide audiences, yet also open discourse and
shift perception. I am also an avid subscriber to the RSA and Ted Talks.
